if there is a cross fit course for teenagers in your area or something like that, near mine we have BASICS and it helps with strength training. also doing things like wall sits and planks and crunches help. so does running ladders and i dont know if you've heard of a stadium of stairs but running one of those helps with leg muscles. and push ups and tricep dips are always a good thing for arms. hope this helps:) i am also really small and building up muscles, in two weeks ive gained 3lbs in muscles! just by doing some of these things really frequently and playing lots of tennis and being really active. so hopefully this helps!:)

I was supposed to hang out with my boyfriend after school for like an hour, cause we usually only get that time to hang out because of my parents not know. And i called up my mom to ask her if i could stay after, and she started yelling, and told me to come home. I went home and saw that she had my locket, the one that my bf gave me for valentines day :/. So she started yelling and telling me that she wishes i was dead, and that she can never trust me again. Because my parents are old fasioned indians, they believe in arrange marriage. I have told them that i didnt want that, and actually sat down and talked to them about it. I have to write an essay for an end of the year assignment. Normally when we turn it in we put it into a folder at the front of the room. What's different about this time is that we are getting graded on how we turn it in. Recently, me and two of my coworkers were bored at work so we decided to go across the street and fly a kite on our break, management found out about it, and one coworker and I got a write-up for going off campus while on the clock. I understand why we are being punished, but the thing is, the third person was not punished at all. Hi, so I met this guy when I was 15, we were both in the Youth&Government program in the YMCA. We took three trips throughout the year, the 1st in November, the 2nd in January, and the last trip in February. The first time I saw him, we were in the initial assembly, I was seated with my YMCA and him with his. I turned around, looked up and we made eye contact. It was the weirdest feeling ever, I knew right away that i was physically attracted to him but I've been physically attracted to plenty of guys and I've never felt the way I did when I laid eyes on him. Like a normal typical teenage girl, I told my friend i thought he was cute and told her not to tell him and of course she did against my wishes. Whatever she told him (because I ran away when she called his name) he would give me this "I know you like me" look. That same weekend at a dance, I was sitting in a chair, he walked up to me and danced with me in front everybody, all eyes were on us and I was in shock. After that night, I thought i was in love but as a young girl I didn't pay any attention to it. The next time I seen him was in Feb., he was dating a girl in his YMCA and i was crushed. He told a friend (whom I was also friends with) that he liked me but because the other girl asked him out first, he chose her. So fast foward to years later. I didn't see him until senior year, a mutual friend of mine had a party and i went along with my boyfriend at the time. My heart was beating so fast when i saw him but I tried to ignore it. That was in 2008, almost 2 years went by before I actually him again. In between those years, he would come across my mind frequently, it would be in the middle of the night or while i was in class, or while I was praying that he would come across my mind. I eventually found him on myspace but i began to visit his page so much that i felt like a cyber stalker. So i deleted him. I found him a year and a half later on facebook&requested him, he accepted me. I started to see these weird signs that had alot to do with him, i would go onto a person's random page and the person's first name would be his first name and the person's last name would be MY first name. mind u my name is very rare, not to mention ive never met anyone with my name, his name is a woman's name so i know it was not a coincidence. Anywho, i would be driving and i would see the craziest things that was linked to him. His close friend requested me on facebook and started inviting me to clubs (he was a party promoter) I found myself going to these clubs to see him, hoping that he would say something that he would confirm what I was feeling. When he seen me he hugged me with a smile and asked how i was doing and that it was nice to see me. (which wasnt too flattered by, Ive seen him interact the same way with other people) My heart would beat so hard and fast that I thought it would just pop right out my chest. I stopped going out to clubs for 6 months due to religious reasons and when i did go out i made sure that I would not see him. This man, whom I know little of would cross my mind so often that it scared me, I prayed about and asked God to reveal to me what was really going on or if there was anything to know. I know that i sound crazy but i am not. I do consider myself to be an intuitive person and maybe that has something to do with it, who knows? but i know what I feel and it is not just feeling that goes away, it has been 10 years and it is the same. I will never mention this to him because im pretty sure that he wil think im crazy stalker, i dont go to his page as much anymore and he doesnt cross my mind anymore bu he is always in the back of my mind. Im not in love with him because i do not know him but i feel a strong sense of affection, a connection with him that i cannot explain. Ive even prayed that I would get to know him and that he would do something to turn me off so i wouldnt think of him but that has not happened yet.. I guess I'll end this essay of an question but I hope I am not the only one in this world who feels this way :/

I vote for JANE EYRE. I read it for my AP Senior English course over the summer years ago, and it changed my understanding and love of literature. I liked it until you said it was about pirates. After reading the plot I was less than enthusiastic. It's a good plot, but I was prepped for something in a completely different direction. I don't see how the protagonist is suffering from lack of freedom, it sounds more like he's just going on an adventure at sea and that there are bad guys waiting for him back on land. So, although you're story sounds good, it just wasn't what I was anticipating.

I need help finding a specific counted cross stitch ABC sampler.?

Many years ago, not sure exacty how many, I stitched an ABC Counted cross stitch Sampler for my friends son. They moved away shortly after and we lost touch with each other. I am going to try to describe as much as I have remebered about it. It is approx 15"w x 12"h. Stitched on 14 count White Aida cloth. There were 4 equal horizontal rows with varied sized "boxes" on each row and I think not the same amount on each. I don't remember what character represented each letter but I think I recall enough to hopefully be recognized by another avid and experienced stitcher or by the recipient of the Sampler. i've tried to take antidepressants a few times now, but every time i find the side effects so bad that i have to stop taking them, the side effects have included nightmares, night sweats, anxiety, emotional numbness, insomnia, sleeping too much, weight loss, anorgasmia, feeling hot, nausea, dizzyness, headaches, elecric rushes in my head, agitation, teeth grinding, dry mouth, constipation, avoidance of social interactions, inpaired judgement, inability to drive, concentration, memory loss; this was all on sertraline and i took it for 3 or 4 weeks. the last straw was when i was having a shower and found myself falling asleep whilst i was stood up after having 14 hours sleep. i've been told to change to another drug citalopram and after the terrible withdrawal effects i've had from stopped this current drug i'm really worried about starting another one. its disconcerting that there are limited studies on the epidemilogical effects of these drugs and the exact chemistry on the brain is also not known, just promoted by drug companies. yes, i want to get better, but throughout the stress and anxiety and depression i have felt before the ADs, i never felt as bad as i do on them. is there maybe too much pressure from society to lead the perfect happy life? maybe taking chemicals to deal and mask physical life issues is not the way forward? i want to be happy but i also want to experience and enjoy life without looking at it through a hazy of drugged up **** feeeling i get from ADs. maybe if we lived in a more social, family orientated, supportive, less isolated world a lot of us wouldn't be dependent on the intake unnatural chemicals to function. from the psychoactive stimulant of tea and coffee to snorting cocaine. yes, they feel good, but so does flying a kite on a sunny day with your friends

At my age most teenage girls hate their moms but I have such a close family that i would do anything for her. So my current problem is that she is having the worst time with life. She grew up in an abusive home were she had to cook and clean, and when something wasn't done right her dad would beat her or lock her out of her house for hours. Then when she grew up she married (what she thought was her true love). Together they got through her first two cancers (Hodgkins and cervical) however about two years ago she was again diagnosed with cancer (this time lung). Her husband (not my actual dad) was with her through her surgery and half of her chemo then out of the blue he decides that he wants a divorce. Half way through her chemo he threw us out with no where to go and no money literary we had nothing there was only one person working and that was my sister working a Walmart and that went to the house we finally found. It was a terrible house it was 100+ years old it had black mold everywhere there were gaps between the floor boards and there were gaps between the wall and floor and the ceiling even fell down on us.(by the way living with my mom is me my 3 other sisters, my 2 brothers, and my oldest brothers girlfriend who ate everything and didn't give us a dime) we were then kicked out of that house just so the landlord could more his 5 children in it. We then had to move to another house 2 hours away with only enough room for me my mom and my sisters. my brother had to go live with my aunt and uncle and my oldest brother and his girlfriend had to get their own place (which is actually a good thing however he is now living with us till he gets his own apartment) We are currently still living in the same place but having a terrible time keeping up with the bills because once again only one person is working (my oldest brother) and only spending it on himself and not really helping with bills. we are only getting by on the checks that come from my real father for child support and the ex husband for my little sister. she doesn't even have enough money for her medicine that she really needs without them she might die. I really what to help my mom i'm currently trying to find a job and so are my sisters even my mom is and she has only 1 and 1/3 lungs left (from her surgery) and she can hardly lift anything because she still isn't fully healed. I dont know what to do I really what to help and everyday she struggles trying just to give us a better life and no one is here helping her she is the best and I just want her to have a better life without worry and without fear of were we are going to be in the next week or what we are going to eat tomorrow . she gives up the money for her pills just so we are able to be warm and so we can stay here... I pray every night for something to come to make life better but still here we are...here she is trying to do the best for us.I don't know what to do Please just give me some advice someone i don't know what to do we just need so much help. I know life could be worse and i know that there are people out there that have it worse and i try to think of them and how good i have it and i know i do but i still cant help but think of my family and my mom. Unfortunately, I only remember one scene from this film because I was very young when I watched it. So basically there's this teenage boy riding a tractor harvesting crops. Two months ago today I had a miscarriage at a little over 6 weeks pregnant. I grew very attached the moment I knew I was pregnant. When I miscarried the actual embryo came out as a whole thing. You can make out features on it and everything. It had arm and leg buds, eyes, veins, a nose. Everything. I feel like nobody really understands because it was such an early pregnancy loss so they don't think of it as a big deal. I still have the picture of it on my phone and it's such a big deal to me. Assuming you can prove yourself at community college, I think you'd stand a shot at BU. Harvard or MIT, though...why do you want to attend those schools? If it's just to prove yourself, then no; you're probably not getting in. There are very few (if any) transfer spots available at schools at that level, and they're going to go to students who not only stand out academically but can make a clear and compelling case that specific resources only that school can offer are going to make the difference between a decent career in their chosen field and an influential one. If you can do that and have some evidence to back you up (not just grades, but research or internships), then maybe you can beat the odds. Just know that they're very long ones, and it may not be worth it if you can in fact get what you need somewhere else.

How can I make a photo from my digital camera into a very small print?

I bought my wife a locket for Mother's Day and I want to put 2 pictures of my daughters face in it before I give it her. I have hundreds of great pictures of my daughter on my digital camera but I need to know how I can print those pictures from my digital camera out into actual photos that are very small so that they can fit into the locket. I have a printer at home and can buy photo paper I guess but more than likely I prefer to bring it to a local CVS or Walgreens photo lab. If I bring it to them I'm not sure if I need to do some prep work before or if they can do exactly what I need just from me bringing them my digital camera. Can a high school failure redeem themselves enough to attend a prestigious university?

Assuming you can prove yourself at community college, I think you'd stand a shot at BU. Harvard or MIT, though...why do you want to attend those schools? If it's just to prove yourself, then no; you're probably not getting in. There are very few (if any) transfer spots available at schools at that level, and they're going to go to students who not only stand out academically but can make a clear and compelling case that specific resources only that school can offer are going to make the difference between a decent career in their chosen field and an influential one. If you can do that and have some evidence to back you up (not just grades, but research or internships), then maybe you can beat the odds. Just know that they're very long ones, and it may not be worth it if you can in fact get what you need somewhere else.

Okay. So I am a 14 yr old girl who will be going into High School next year. I honestly hate the way I dress (My clothes are so boring and I have no distinct style). i am 16 years old. when i was 13, i told my best friend in the world that i was bi (i thought he would be a bit more comfortable with that rather than just telling him i was gay, don't ask me why.) to which he replied, "me too." over the next couple of months i found myself more and more attracted to him, both emotionally and sexually, so on the last day of school i invited him to spend the weekend at my dads house with me. Grief over recently losing a pet?

I recently had to put down my 7 year old corgi due to seizures & a brain tumor. She was my absolute baby. It has been about a month and I am finding myself crying myself to sleep almost every night over her. I start to cry every time I hear her name or look at anything that used to belong to her (bed, food bowl, etc.). She was so full of personality & I really miss having that daily interaction with her. I feel like im just empty now. I keep her ashes & her collar in my room in a special place and I bought a locket with a picture of her in it. These things somewhat helped but I am finding myself having incredible grief over her & I think about what I could have done to save her or help her every single day.
