Is it weird to wear necklaces that an ex gave you?

i don't have many necklaces... i would say i own like ten and about half of them are from my first boyfriend (his dad owns many jewelry stores so my first boyfriend liked to get me necklaces). well i would wear those necklaces a lot even after we dated (and most of them are just really fun and really cool... not like lockets or anything)... then i started to date my next boyfriend and he would get really angry with me when ever i wore a necklace that my ex gave me... he got so mad that he bought me a necklace and told me to only wear his (my mother even bought me a necklace and he didn't want me to wear hers... only his) now he dumped me and i'm wondering if it is weird to wear either of my ex's necklaces... i want to wear the necklace that my 2nd ex gave me cuz it goes well with this one shirt but is it really that bad or weird to wear necklaces that an ex gave you?
