Did i make this up? kite above water.. kinda like parasailing?

i have this idea that you can do this thing where you hold onto a bar thats attached to a kite and you like sail/fly over ther ocean.. is this real? and if so, what's it called? i google parasailing and it seems like you're only sitting down but the one im thinking of you're laying flat like superman.
