I dont remember the name of the movie! (it's a a comedy)?

The movie starts off with a kid who wanted to surprise a girl with a locket and asks his friend to pose as a robber at a liquor store where he worked. Well somehow he gets shot with a real gun and dies. I think he comes back as a zombie. And in the end their is also a twist. if i remember correctly the twist was that he hadn't died just fainted. I vaguely remember the plot. I think it either came out in the 80's or early 90's. Does anyone know what movie im talking about?
