Coming of age quotations in "the kite runner?"?

hi i have a reading assignment to find quotations in a book that support the theme of coming of age. I have chosen "the kite runner" (by khaled hosseini). i am just wondering if there are going to be obvious quotes supporting this theme, or if i should pick a different book. thanks!
